BOOKING CONDITIONS
These booking conditions govern all bookings made with Purenordic travel EHF (hereinafter referred to as PNT), whether processed by our office in Iceland, Denmark or Lithuania. Any booking made or order placed by a customer, whether through the company's website or otherwise, shall be deemed as an offer by the customer to purchase the relevant package or other travel arrangement subject to these booking conditions.

Below are the general terms that apply to all users of PNT.

All of the terms stated in these Terms of Service, together with PNT Privacy Policy constitute the "Agreement" between you and PNT.

No contract between the customer and PNT shall come into existence until PNT receives full payment and issues a confirmation invoice. The customer making the booking accepts these conditions on behalf of all members of their travel party and is responsible for payment due from the party in entirety.

By agreeing to the booking terms, you agree that we may share your contact details (Name, telephone number and email provided in the booking form) with one or more of our trusted suppliers. This is to improve your experience while travelling, allowing our suppliers to contact you directly if any problems arise with your pickup or to inform you of any changes in your itinerary.
By submitting a booking, you warrant and confirm to us that you comply with these arrangements.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

PNT accepts all major credit and debit cards through our website payment gateway. We also accept bank transfers. Please note that bank transfers are not possible for bookings made less than 15 days from the date of travel.

We accept payment by the following cards: Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, JCB, Discover cards.

A deposit of 30% of the total trip amount must be paid to confirm your booking with us.

Full payment needs to be made at least four weeks before arrival.

In case of delays on payments PNT reserves the right to treat this as a cancellation and withdraw its confirmation of the services.

VALIDITY OF PRICES

All rates quoted or shown in our tariffs are based on current prices and are subject to change on our website without notice. After the final invoice has been issued, the price of a booking is guaranteed against surcharges unless due to currency fluctuation, government taxes or any other cost increase beyond PNT's control.

In the rare event that any published prices must be increased due to aforementioned reasons, PNT will notify you at least 6 weeks in advance if your booking price is affected. In such case, PNT will absorb an amount equivalent to 5% of the remaining package price, less deposit amount paid. Amounts exceeding 5% will be charged, but if the surcharge exceeds 15% you will be entitled to cancel your booking with a full refund.

Please also note that if an incorrect price has been posted on our website in error, we reserve the right to cancel, amend or limit the order placed at the incorrect price.

CANCELLATION

We recommend that our clients purchase a comprehensive travel insurance to cover possible need of cancellation. For all cancellations, PNT will make every effort to ensure the best protection for you.

All cancellations must be sent to PNT in writing, by e-mail.

In accordance with standard business practices of the travel industry in the Nordic countries, PNT is obliged to charge customers cancellation fees at a percentage of the full price, as follows:

Private tours and GUIDED SMALL GROUPS CANCELLATION TERMS:

• More than 4 weeks before the scheduled tour arrival date: 10% cancellation fee
• Less than 4 weeks before the scheduled tour arrival date: 50% cancellation fee
• Less than 2 weeks before the scheduled tour arrival date: 80% cancellation fee
• Less than 72 hours before scheduled tour arrival date: 100% cancellation fee

GROUP BOOKINGS CANCELLATION TERMS:

• More than 10 weeks before the scheduled tour arrival date: cancellation fees are 20% of the estimated total price
• 8 to 10 weeks before the scheduled tour arrival date: cancellation fees are 30% of the estimated total price
• 4 to 8 weeks before the scheduled tour arrival date: cancellation fees are 50% of the estimated total price
• Less than 4 weeks prior to arrival: cancellation fees are 100% of the estimated total price

NON-REFUNDABLE SERVICES:

Please note that cancellation rules are stricter than normal for the following services: international and domestic flights, day tours that include flights, accommodation at specific hotels, train tickets and cruises. Therefore, PNT cannot refund any of these services booked through us. In the event some of our tour packages have stricter cancellation rules, the information will be stated in the tour package details.

SERVICE TERMS

PNT reserves the right to decide the route driven and location changing, unless otherwise agreed in advance. Such changes are commonly based on safety, wheatear situation, road conditions.

PNT accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to luggage or other items that are transported in or on its vehicles.

In the event that the client damages PNT's vehicle, or if his conduct is such that the vehicle must be cleaned especially, the client is to pay compensation equivalent to the expense incurred by PNT to remedy the situation. All claims and disputes that relate to the provided services must be notified within 7 days from the issue date.

PNT accepts no responsibility for any delays of whatever nature.

Smoking in PNT's vehicles is absolutely prohibited. In event of a violation thereto, a fine of up to ISK 250.000 per day will be imposed.

Special charges:

Cleaning fee of ISK 25,000 for a medium passenger car and ISK 30,000 for a large minivan

Fines for damages to the vehicle, whether to the interior or the exterior, may amount to up to ISK 250,000, irrespective of the vehicle involved.

In case the client wants to add activities or other services to his booking with PNT a full payment must be made for the outstanding balance at least 24 hours before his departure from Iceland.

A full day of driving guidance is 10 hours. In the event that the day exceeds the negotiated period, overtime will be charged per extra hour.
